Road Safety on Four Continents (RS4C) (28th-30th March 2010)

The conference on March 28-30 2010 in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Hotel was the 15th in a series of road safety conferences starting in 1987, at this time with emphasis on two continents, Europe and North America. In 2000 Africa was included, and in 2005 the emphasis was even broader with four continents including Asia. However, even if the emphasis has been on four continents the organizers welcome participation from other continents. In 2005 and 2007 a number of delegates from South America and Australia took part.

This year's Conference was extremely successful was hosted by the National Authority of Transport (NTA) comprised over 300 delegates and 30 speakers from different [parts of the World. The main objective of the conference is to explore emerging research and developments in the area of road safety. Another objective will be towards the application of research and to involve developing countries and countries in transition both as speakers and as delegates.

CSI was the appointed PCO and managed the entire logistics, AV management, Media management, Social Events management, onsite delegate registration, Accommodation management, Transportation management, outdoor event promotions, venue management, sponsorship management staffing etc. The organizers of the Conference VTI Sweden commended that the Abu Dhabi Conference was great success.

CABSAT (2nd-4th March 2010)

CABSAT MENA is the leading International Digital Media Event for Middle East, Africa & South Asia. The event took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (2-4 March 2010) and attracted almost 9000 visitors & Exhibitors.

CSI were appointed by the organizer (The Dubai World Trade Centre) to be the official accommodation agent for this prestigious event. We were arranging meet and greet services for the delegates, visa, transfers and tours and excursions as well.

Tech ED (1st-3rd March 2010)

Microsoft’s global premier, technical education and networking event, Tech- Ed was hosted in the Middle East for the first time from 1-3 March 2010. The event was a highlight of the regional IT calendar and attracted over 1500 IT professionals from a total of 38 countries across the world and 25 countries from the MEA region.

International Copyright Symposium 2010 - IPA - Abu Dhabi (28th February - 2nd March 2010)

The International Publishers Association (IPA) is a federation of publishers' associations comprising more than 60 organizations from more than 50 countries. IPA was founded in 1896 with an initial aim of ensuring respect for copyright and proper implementation of copyright laws worldwide. While the promotion and defense of copyright remains one of IPA's main objectives, its goals have expanded to include protecting freedom to publish, encouraging literacy and reading and providing a meeting place for publishers to network, exchange ideas and conduct business

IPA was attended by high caliber publishers. Over 300 delegates and over 30 speakers' attended the IPA 2010 conference which was held from 28th February to 2nd March 2010 at the intercontinental Abu Dhabi. This year's Conference was extremely successful was hosted by KITAB of Abu Dhabi Authority Cultural Heritage (ADACH).

CSI was the appointed PCO and offered a full Conference management solution to KITAB starting from online registration to gala dinner. The primary services of CSI include: management of logistics, AV management, Media management, Social Events management, onsite delegate registration, Accommodation management, venue management, Printing management, staffing etc. The organizers of the Conference International Publishers Association (IPA) and KTAB were extremely satisfied and highly praised the services of CSI.

ICDDT 2010 (1st-4th February 2010)

This unique international conference provides a platform for all pharmaceutical scientists, internists and primary care physicians to discuss and learn about all the important international breakthrough developments on drug discovery and on new therapeutics.

The 2nd ICDDT hosted over 700 pharmaceutical scientists, doctors and clinical researchers who discussed the latest global breakthroughs in drug discovery and therapeutic research. Leading industrial and academic experts from 74 countries around the globe presented their findings in the form of Plenary Lectures, Invited Lectures, Session Lectures and Posters at this four-day conference. The conference agenda included more than 300 talks and 250 poster presentations in 23 conference tracks. There was a parallel commercial exhibition where both local and international companies exhibited their products. The 2nd edition of ICDDT provided a platform for all pharmaceutical scientists, internists and primary care physicians to discuss and learn about all the important international breakthrough developments on drug discovery and new therapeutics.

GITEX (17th-22nd October 2009)

The 29th edition of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK has been hailed as one of the most successful information communications technology events of the year by industry leaders.
133,708 trade visitors attended this year's show, a three percent increase on 2008 and the highest number of visitors to the show ever, confirming GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK as a premier event in the global ICT event calendar. The event attracts distributors, resellers and retailers from across the entire region as vendors look to touch base with their partners.

 

Global Leadership Summit - Pfizer (13th-15th June 2009)

Leadership, diversity, talent management, and colleague engagement are just a few of the topics that was covered in panel discussions and workshops in Dubai, when Pfizer's Emerging Markets Business Unit (EMBU) brings together colleagues from around its emerging markets at this inaugural event. The summit is being co-sponsored by the Global Women's Council (GWC), a group created by Pfizer to specifically develop a global women's strategy.

The summit agenda is business oriented and provides an excellent opportunity for the participants to build new global leadership skills, discuss new ideas, and design innovative strategies to take back to their home countries. Each day of the summit incorporates experiential elements within three components - global business solutions, professional development, and leader engagement.

IMnI 35th Annual Conference - Dubai (7th-9th June 2009)

 The International Manganese Institute (IMnI) is a association that represents manganese ore and alloy producers, manufacturers of metallurgical products or chemical compounds, trading houses, industry service providers, companies involved in Mn business development, universities and research organizations worldwide. IMnI provides vision and guidance to the manganese industry by promoting economic, social and environmental responsibility and sustainability for all stakeholders. IMnI consist of two and half days of plenary sessions and was well attended by the industry leaders.

Keep Discovering Dubai - (March - May 2009)

Initiated by Emirates airline and Group in partnership with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Dubai hoteliers and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) the campaign is estimated to be costing around Dhs50m, including flights, accommodation, meals and tours.

Over 2,000 frontline travel staff from around the world including; travel agents, tour operators and MICE agents were invited to visit Dubai throughout March, April and May for an exciting and eye-opening three day familiarization trip, under the banner of the 'Keep discovering Dubai' campaign.
 
"Keep discovering Dubai provided global representatives from the travel trade with a distinctive first-hand experience of Dubai.  As part of Keep discovering Dubai, some 300 media representatives were also invited for a three day familiarization trip.

CSI was incharge of ofeering comprehensive services which included delegate registration, coordination amongst varours Emirates offices world wide, Cordination amongst all stake holders in Dubai with regard to logistics, Hotel Accommodation, Onsite management, restaurant and activities coordination, staffing etc.

World Economic Forum - Summit on the Global Agenda (7th-9th November 2008 and 20th-22nd November 2009)

Congress Solutions International have acted as the Local Professional Congress Organiser for this prestigious annual Summit in both 2008 and 2009, providing services for both the organisers - the World Economic Forum and the local Hosts - The Executive Office. Both editions of the summit were held in the Madinat Jumeirah where 700 of the world's top thought leaders from business, government, academia and civil society met to explore ways to tackle governance gaps at the local, regional and global levels, as well as examine the new and continued interlinkages among the various Councils. These deliberations and the Council's recommendations to improve global governance and cooperation serve as the framework for organising sessions at the subsequent World Economic Forum Annual Meetings held in Davos, Klosters each year.

SIPCO - Match Middle East 2008 (3rd - 6th June 2008)

Hospitality Match (MATCH) is a series of targeted and exclusive invitation-only events that bring key decision makers to you, face-to-face for a weekend of serious business and exceptional networking events. At MATCH, sellers met with pre-qualified hospitality buyers of furnishings at the three- to five-star level, through pre-arranged one-on-one meetings. The event was attended by over 100 delegates.

Black Rock 2008 - Dubai & Abu Dhabi (1st - 6th June 2008)

Black Rock is one of the leading financial entities in the US. This year BLACKROCK would be holding their annual board meeting in Dubai and Abu Dhabi along with prospective client meeting in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The board meeting in Dubai and Abu Dhabi is attended by very high profile personalities including the US Secretary of Treasury. 

Emirates Commercial / SkyCargo Conference 2008 (23rd - 26th May 2008)

Emirates Commercial Sales & Emirates SkyCargo Conference 2008 was held from 23rd - 26th May 2008. This year's Conference gathered over 1200 delegates representing the senior management of the Emirates Commercial and Sky Cargo from all over the world. This year Conference was unique as it combined all aspects of Commercial and Skycargo under one audience and the theme of the Conference was "Unstoppable". The Conference agenda discussed about the achievements of the group, future strategies, hurdles and tough competition faced by the Airline.

WACS Conference 2008 (11th - 16th May 2008)

Congress Solutions International was the official Professional Congress Organizer of the prestigious annual Congress of the World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS). The 33rd Congress of the WACS, was held in Dubai during 11th – 16th May 2008. This is yet another endorsement for Dubai's position as the most sought-after destination by global congress organizers. The Congress will comprise of 850 delegates of Chefs from all over the world, experts from the global food and beverage sector & suppliers from the hospitality industry. Previous WACS congresses have been held in New Zealand, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Germany and Australia.

IMA - Institute of Management Accountants 2008 (5th - 7th May 2008)

The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA®), the world's leading organization representing accounting and finance professionals working inside organizations, held its 3rd Annual Global Conference, 5th-7th May 2008 at the JW Marriott Dubai, UAE.

The event was attended by nearly 150 accounting and finance professionals from close to 20 countries around the world and featured nearly 20 educational sessions. The Conference included three full days of engaging talks from leading practitioners from around the world. Session topics included Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Knowledge Management, Convergence of Global Reporting Standards (IFRS/GAAP/Islamic Banking), Strategic Cost Management, Planning and Budgeting, Financial Leadership, and more.

WTTC Conference 2008 (20th - 26th April 2008)

Congress Solutions International's Professionalism has been once again reiterated through the extra ordinary management of the Global Travel & Tourism Summit held in Dubai for the first time.

WAEA - World Airline Entertainment Association 2008 (20th - 22nd April 2008)

The WAEA TV Market is the major in flight entertainment showcase for those who buy and sell TV or short subject programs. This event offers buyers and sellers a unique opportunity to meet in both a formal exhibition setting with prescheduled appointments, and at networking events. Dedicated exclusively to in flight short-subject and TV movie programming, this sell-out trade-show and conference lets program suppliers showcase their upcoming releases to airline buyers worldwide. The WAEA TV Market offers two days during which each attending airline will meet with each distributor in private, pre-scheduled appointments to discuss and sample their TV and short-subject offerings.

The WAEA TV Market event is held in conjunction with the WAEA Conference & Educational Workshops, the two programs, conducted back-to-back, representing a week’s long worth of activities. Up to forty distributors of short subjects and/or TV content, representatives from approximately 60 airline buyers and 170 delegates attended the conference.

Brazil Trade Mission 2008 (1st - 4th April 2008)

A group of 85 leading Brazilian business professionals visited Dubai from 1st - 4th April to explore the business tie ups between the corporates in Dubai in collaboration Dubai Chamber of Commerce. The business initiative was undertaken with the Emirates launch of direct flight between Dubai and Sau Paulo.

WSIE - World Summit on Innovation & Entrepreneurship 2008 (1st - 4th April 2008)

WSIE promotes collaborative innovation across all walks of life. We believe if we can invent together, we can live together. WSIE gives us a chance to see into the innovations of multiple industries, and to share and draw insight from the best of the best– innovators, entrepreneurs and practices. The powerful combination at this Summit - gurus from across the globe dissecting and analyzing innovation from every angle. The WSIE Conference was held from 1st - 4th April 2008 and was attended by over 500 delegates.

BOEING Conference 2008 (24th – 26th Feb 2008)

Boeing held its annual Middle East Region flight operations conference in Dubai.  This was a segment of the Annual World Congress which is being held every year in Seattle, USA. Dubai was a 3 day conference. The first 2 days were devoted to safety, technical, and performance presentations and question and answers.  The 3rd day was for specific private meetings with individual airlines to address their particular needs and issues. Emirates Training College was the Venue of the Conference. Emirates was also a part sponsor of the Conference and showcased Emirates as the regional leader as well as a provider of great opportunities for regional interaction. CSI was appointed as the official Conference Organiser by BOEING USA. The Conference was attended by delegates from the Region, Asia USA and Europe.

KIRBY Dealer Convention 2008, Tenerif (14th - 17th Feb 2008)

CSI took a giant step into international territory by organizing its first ever congress away from the UAE home base. Our global debut was a bi-annual dealer convention in Tenerife, Spain for Slovenian Kompas Holidays.

The conference, which was held from 14th - 17th February, brought together nearly 200 dealers belonging to the international vacuum cleaning industry, and represented over 20 countries in East Europe and the former Soviet Union bloc.

IPI Conference 2007 (2nd to 8th Nov 2007)

Institute of Private Investors Annual Meeting in Dubai

The renowned financial advisor in the USA, Institute of Private Investor well recognized as IPI will be conducting the annual investors forum in Dubai from 2nd to 8th November 2007. This year’s IPI investor’s forum will comprise of over 60 delegates and the official programme will comprise of meetings with leading financial institutions in Dubai. Congress Solutions International has been appointed as the official Conference organizer for this event.

CIPS Conference 2007 (21st to 23rd Oct 2007)

The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) conducted its 2nd Middle East Conference supported by Master Class and Workshop. The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) is an international professional body representing purchasing and supply chain professionals who have a signifi­cant impact on corporate profitability and efficiency. It is the largest organization of its kind in the world with around 42,000 members and a central reference point world-wide on matters relating to purchasing and supply chain management. CIPS has members in 134 different countries, including senior business people, high ranking civil servants and leading academics. The Conference was attended by delegates from the Region and Africa. The Conference was held at the Shangri La Hotel in Dubai from 21st - 23rd October 2007. Congress Solutions International as the official PCO managed the entire Conference. Bearing Testimony to the Professional services extended by Congress Solutions International was the selection of CSI to handle the future Conference of CIPS.

XLS Summit (30th Sept to 4th Oct 2007)

XLS is a new payment software comprised of various products. A large number of banking professionals long with payment software experts conducted their meeting in Dubai from 1st - 4th October 2007 for which Congress Solutions International was the official Congress Organizer. The four day programme was very diversified and the visitors of the Conference from more than 15 countries had a memorable business and pleasure visit to Dubai.

KIRBY Conference 2007 (13th to 16th Sept 2007)

Over 300 dealers, Sales Directors and Senior management staff members of the leading vacuum cleaner brand KIRBY selected Dubai as the venue for the Annual dealer Convention. The Conference was attended by delegates from over twenty Countries which included Eastern European and former Soviet Union Countries. The Conference was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dubai during 11th - 13th September 2007. Congress Solutions International as the official PCO managed the entire Conference. “An event with a memorable difference" was the comment made by Milena, the coordinator of the Conference.
