The 51st ACI Financial Markets World Congress, Dubai

This was the first time the 51st ACI Financial Markets World Congress was held in the Middle East. The key aim was to create a platform for banking professionals from across the MENA region allowing them to network, discuss and debate topical business challenges currently facing the financial market.
His Excellency Sultan Bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, the Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE, addressed the audience in an opening speech, stressing the importance of Dubai as a venue for meetings focusing on current financial challenges.

The Public Relations World Congress by the International Public Relations Association

Dubai The Public Relations World Congress (PRWC) is a biennial event that brings together global PR professionals to brainstorm on the latest trends and challenges in the communications industry.
The 20th PRWC 2012 was hosted for three days from March 13 to 15 in Dubai, by IPRA-Gulf Chapter (IPRA-GC). This was the first time the prestigious event was hosted in the Middle East.
The Congress was held under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President & Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
More than 400 delegates from across the world were expected to attend the Congress, which included several sessions centered on three broad themes: 'Political Change & Public Relations,' 'Restoring Trust: The Media & The Message,' and 'Next Practices: Communications in the Digital Age.
